Paddock Walk - Keeneland Fall Meet
This is a professional quality giclee print of original watercolor painting of the horses and jockeys making last minute preparations, getting ready to walk onto the Keeneland racetrack in Lexington, KY during the most beautiful season in Kentucky, autumn.
This painting stemmed from a workshop I recently participated in. The teacher explained that a good painting translates how you feel about a place, instead of just the place iteslf. Nothing is more beautiful to me than fall in Kentucky and if you're familiar with Keeneland, you already know it's one of the most stunning places to be this time of year.
All this to say that this painting, to me, gives the feeling of a warm sweater, cool, crisp air but yet the warmth of the sun, the smell of autumn, maybe burgoo or bread pudding, the sounds of pounding hooves and the laughter of friends. It's calming, yet exciting.

Canvas prints come rolled in a tube mailer and require mounting to a frame.
11x14 print sizes and smaller come in a white mat and shipped in a rigid mailer.
18x24 paper prints come without a mat and are shipped in a mailing tube.
